In addition to their regular performances at various music venues and festivals, this band enjoys teaching younger generations about the history of ROOTS music and the instruments instruments traditionally used.
The 1-hour presentations are normally include a concert in which students are encouraged to participate, a lesson on music & musical instrument history, and a "Instrument Petting Zoo" where various instruments are handed out and passsed thru the audience.
The PREFERRED audience size is 40 or less (to allow for the maximum "hands-on" experience with the instruments).
The presentations are tailored to fit each age group and are suitable for grades K-12!
